Interior design on The Pearl, Qatar is close to home for us: our studio is at Qanat Quartier, on the Piazza Level. We design, fit out and furnish apartments, penthouses, townhouses and retail units across the island, and we know how its towers, communities and building rules shape every project.
The Pearl Island is a master-planned community of distinct districts, each with its own character and building stock. Porto Arabia wraps around the marina with residential towers and waterfront promenades. Viva Bahriya offers beachfront towers with a different architectural style. Qanat Quartier, where our studio is based, is known for its canals and colourful, Venetian-inspired townhouses and low-rise apartments. Medina Centrale forms the island's town centre, while Abraj Quartier and other districts add further towers, villas and mixed-use buildings, and the newer neighbouring developments continue to grow.
Being based on the island means we can meet you at your apartment, walk you through samples at the studio the same day and supervise site work closely.
Most residences on The Pearl are apartments in towers or mid-rise buildings. Many owners want to update a developer-standard interior: a more open kitchen, better storage, upgraded bathrooms, a feature wall, new lighting or a complete change of style. Penthouses often bring larger terraces, double-height spaces and more complex air-conditioning and lighting.
Tower work depends on good logistics. Service lift bookings, protection of corridors and lobbies, permitted working hours, noise limits and debris removal are all set by building management, and we plan our programme around them.
Townhouses on The Pearl, including those in Qanat Quartier, combine several floors with smaller footprints. That makes built-in joinery especially valuable, from under-stair storage and full-height wardrobes to kitchen pantries and TV walls produced to exact dimensions in our workshop. Qanat Quartier's distinctive architecture and shared spaces also mean community and building management rules apply to how and when works are carried out, and to anything that affects façades, balconies or common areas.
The Pearl is managed by its master developer, United Development Company (UDC), which runs the Khadamati service centre for residents and businesses on the island, including issuing NOCs. Individual buildings and communities also have their own management and requirements for contractors. Before any work starts, we confirm what your building requires, which may include submitting drawings and method statements, contractor registration, insurance, deposits and working-hour approvals. Where works affect structure, fire-safety systems or shared services, additional approvals may be needed, and we coordinate those with the relevant parties. Requirements change from time to time, so we always check the current rules for your specific building.
Living by the sea brings salt air, strong sunlight and higher humidity. We specify finishes and hardware that cope with these conditions: moisture-resistant boards in joinery, quality hinges and runners, UV-stable fabrics near large windows, and careful sealing in bathrooms and kitchens. Terraces and balconies need outdoor-rated materials and furniture.
The Pearl's promenades and piazzas host cafés, restaurants, boutiques and services. Commercial units follow landlord fit-out guidelines, and food outlets need kitchen MEP, extraction and food-safe finishes planned from the start. Our design, technical and joinery teams handle these together.
Our portfolio includes The Pearl Residence, a residential project centred on bespoke joinery. Whether you need a single room refreshed or a full apartment redesigned and furnished, you deal with one team, a few minutes away.

We develop interiors from concept through space planning, material selection, furniture, lighting, 3D visuals and detailed design. For commercial and corporate projects, we also develop design guidelines and interior standards.
